Memories I Had with You: A Journey Through Time

Tonight the wind feels so cold,
Reminding me of everything that’s grown rusty and old—
But not the memories I had with you,
Oh no, not the memories I had with you.

Why do I need a pen in my hand,
When my poem has already turned quite bland?
But not the memories I had with you,
Oh no, not the memories I had with you.

I dived too deep into my feelings; now my eyes can’t sleep,
No matter how hard I try, I still hear my words weep.
There was a time when dazzling eyes
Painted my blue skies.

As time flies, we broke our ties,
But not the memories we shared.

Everything and everyone will come and leave.
Our souls will sing,
And our hearts will grieve.
I may sound naive,
But in the end, you’ll perceive.
